Valerio Spada – Gomorrah Girl
Cross Editions, Paris
»I am struggling with this one, since there have been numerous very strong books this year – all of which I could easily vote for. paloma al aire by Ricardo Cases, series by Enrique Metinides, a by Greg Halpern, redheaded peckerwood by Christina Patterson, le theatre du crime by Rudolphe Reiss, illuminance by Rinko Kawauchi, a criminal investigation by Watabe Yukichi. But I keep coming back to this one, gomorrah girl, by Valerio Spada. It gets my vote. This is a book that I can really learn something from.«
